Classic parkland golf with incredible vistas.

A great walk through a spectacular setting.

Our course is the heart of the club, a Bill Newis design that’s been drawing people to Bearspaw for decades.

Bearspaw has the best of what you want from a member club—enough elevation to always keep things interesting, strategic bunkering that is ever-present, but not overstated, and great greens. It’s a parkland setting with holes that snake through valleys, culminating in a brilliant closing hole with a green set just below the remarkable new clubhouse.

There is a lot new at Bearspaw—but the course remains the classic golfers expect.

Tour Tested—Golfer Approved

Bearspaw hosted many of the best championships in the province, including Golf Canada’s Mid-Amateur Championship and the Alberta Amateur, alongside professional events like the ATB Financial Classic. These championships demonstrate Bearspaw offers the right championship flavour for better players, while maintaining a charm that allows recreational golfers to tee it up every day of the week.

Short, but Mighty

Improving your iron and driver game will only get you so far. That’s why Bearspaw’s newly rebuilt practice facility offers a tremendous short game area, complete with two putting greens and a defined area where you can dial in your scoring clubs.
